“Music Circle” performed by Salman al-Ammari and al-Mass Band. Salman Al-Ammari is a Kuwaiti folk artist, a vocalist, and Oud player. He is an admirer of old Kuwaiti sounds, folklore and the Sea Music, influenced by vocalists and famous old Kuwaiti singers such as Hamad Khalifa, Mohammed Zuwaid, Mohammed Bin Fares, and Dahi Bin Walid.      

Music Night is titled “The Sununu Project” and performed by Hussa al-Humaidhi. “The Sununu Project” is a music trio experimenting with the fusion of traditional Khaleeji music with jazz, rock, electronic and more. Vocalist Hussa al-Humaidhi performs on Oud and piano. Mohammad al-Owaisi on Percussion & drums and Adel al-Qattan on guitar & bass. The trio performs covers and originals with the addition of some guest performers.  

“Liwa and Tanboura” performed by Saleh Murjan Band. Liwa and Tanboura is a traditional African Music style, The band will entertain the audience with special traditional selections of Tanboura and Liwa music.  

“Enchanting Night” by Abdulaziz al-Mesbah. Abdulaziz al-Mesbah is a singer, composer, and an oud player. He was born in 1998 and loved music since childhood. He learnt a lot from his late father, Saleh Noah al-Mesbah, and from his uncle, the great artist Mohammed al-Mesbah. Abdulaziz started singing at a young age and learnt to play the oud in 2011. Then, he joined Loyac Academy for Performing Arts (LAPA) in late 2014. He played in many local and international events. Now, Abdulaziz is studying music at the Higher Institute of Musical Art.  

” Harmony of the Dar” by Lulwa al-Shamlan. Lulwa Al Shamlan is a twenty year old Kuwaiti pianist. She began learning the piano early on, at the age of four, and started performing frequently at the age of five. Lulwa has performed in various venues across Europe, the USA, Central Asia and the Middle East. Lulwa has achieved many prizes in competitions from a young age. She won first place in the International Festival of the Young Performers of Classical Music in Baku, Azerbaijan. She also won first place in the Mid Somerset Festival in Bath, UK, in addition to the most outstanding pianist prize. She is currently in her third year…

” Viva La Musica ” and performed by Valentina Maria Baginska. Valentina is an artist with international achievements as a conductor, concert organist, pianist, music professor, juror, lecturer, and impresario. She graduated with an honors degree from the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.    

Qanoon Music Night with Aytaç Doğan. Turkish musician who is regarded as one of the best kunan players in the world. He has recorded on thousands of albums, and lectures at the Egyptian Ahmet Rhythm Academy. He is also a member of the Taksim Trio.    

“Heritage Rhythm” performed by Fadhel al-Kankouni. The concert included different types of traditional and local music, including Khayyali, Dasmali, Khumairi, Saheb, Liwa, and Tahani.    

Music Night, titled “Arab Maghreb Medley” features Omrani and the Crew. Omrani and the Crew is a band founded by Mohamed Omrani, a Tunisian composer and songwriter based in Kuwait for the past 6 years. Far from his profession as a chemical engineer, he started his artistic career in 2010. Influenced by the variety of music from all over the world, he succeeded to create his own musical identity. His music is enriched by his exposure to different cultures. After moving to Kuwait, he became knowns by his covers of Maghrebi songs along with the band. “Breaking Barriers” composed by Dr Hamid al-Koot. The compositions of Dr Hamid al-Koot have a Western music adaptation intertwined with Blockbuster movie music. Through his composition, the composer is attempting to introduce new compositional ideas into Kuwaiti repertoire while trying to bring the Kuwaiti music composition into international music standards. Thus, reaching the modern audience and keeping pace with current musical taste.
