Employees at Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company visited the Amricani Cultural Centre, and were given a tour by DAI employees: Sarah Behbehani, Noura al-Muqait, and Rawan al-Otaibi. They toured the current exhibitions of The al-Sabah Collection: al Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilization, Mirrored Nature, and the Story of Amricani: an audio-visual presentation on the history of the American Mission Hospital in Kuwait. KIPIC employees showed interest in Amricani Cultural Centre and al Sabah Collection.

Shell’s VP Corporate Relations MENA & CIS Joanna Kuenssberg visited the Amricani Cultural Centre today, with Corporate Relations Advisor at Shell Kuwait, Nada Borisly. The visit focused on the role of museums and education, particularly as it pertains to developing critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity skills in young people. In Kuwait, Shell sponsors several of the DAI’s programmes for children and a big part of the tour was seeing the work that children have done with the Mirrored Nature: The Full Circle exhibition.

The Amricani Cultural Centre Received More than 2 Dozen Students from 9 Countries on a Special Visit
More than 2 dozen students from 9 countries visited The al-Sabah Collection exhibitions at the Amricani Cultural Centre. The students, part of a cultural education tour of the GCC led by Dr Heba Abdulaziz, sailed into Kuwait on the tall ship SV Shabab Oman II.
