Miguel José Moro Aguilar, Spanish Ambassador to Kuwait, paid a visit to the Amricani Cultural Centre and toured al-Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilization, featuring objects from The al-Sabah Collection, Story of Amricani, and Mirored Nature. He showed special interest in various galleries. as well as the museum itself.

H.E. Marian Wrba, Austrian Ambassador to Kuwait and his wife, paid a visit to the Amricani Cultural Centre and toured al-Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilization, featuring objects from The al-Sabah Collection, Story of Amricani, and Mirored Nature. He showed special interest in various galleries. as well as the museum itself.     

Employees at Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company visited the Amricani Cultural Centre, and were given a tour by DAI employees: Sarah Behbehani, Noura al-Muqait, and Rawan al-Otaibi. They toured the current exhibitions of The al-Sabah Collection: al Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilization, Mirrored Nature, and the Story of Amricani: an audio-visual presentation on the history of the American Mission Hospital in Kuwait. KIPIC employees showed interest in Amricani Cultural Centre and al Sabah Collection.  

Shell’s VP Corporate Relations MENA & CIS Joanna Kuenssberg visited the Amricani Cultural Centre today, with Corporate Relations Advisor at Shell Kuwait, Nada Borisly. The visit focused on the role of museums and education, particularly as it pertains to developing critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity skills in young people. In Kuwait, Shell sponsors several of the DAI’s programmes for children and a big part of the tour was seeing the work that children have done with the Mirrored Nature: The Full Circle exhibition.

Marc Trenteseau , Belgium Ambassador to Kuwait, paid a visit to the Amricani Cultural Centre this afternoon and toured al-Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilization, featuring objects from The al-Sabah Collection, Story of Amricani, and Modern Architecture in Kuwait exhibition. He showed special interest in various galleries. as well as the museum itself.    

His Excellency the Ambassador of Belgium and Mrs Trenteseau on a tour of The al-Sabah Collection with Salam Kaoukji, the curator of the Collection.    

US Army, Area Support Group Kuwait, US Army Central Command, Task Force Spartan, 1st Theater Support Command, in cooperation with The Kuwaiti office of Islamic Affairs and Moral Guidance arranged a seminar at ACC. It was a great opportunity to share the values and respect among different religions and cultures.  

A group of  archeology students from Kuwait University, accompanied by Dr Ahmed Saeed, paid a visit to the collection office at Yarmouk Cultural Centre today to see The al-Sabah Collection.    

More than 2 dozen students from 9 countries visited The al-Sabah Collection exhibitions at the Amricani Cultural Centre. The students, part of a cultural education tour of the GCC led by Dr Heba Abdulaziz, sailed into Kuwait on the tall ship SV Shabab Oman II.
