“Kuwaiti Folklore Evening” performed by Salman al-Ammari. Salman Al-Ammari is a Kuwaiti folk artist, a vocalist and Oud player. He is an admirer of old Kuwaiti sounds, folklore and the Sea Music, influenced by vocalists and famous old Kuwaiti singers such as Hamad Khalifa, Mohammed Zuwaid, Mohammed Bin Fares and Dahi Bin Walid.        

“Music of Nubia” performed by Alfred Jameel. The Nubian music was originated for more than 4000 years ago. The Nubian kingdom was ruled by the south, where it grew and progressed and was mixed with the music of the North. It developed and used the same modern instruments as the harp and popular instruments.    

Music Night entitled “Mood of the Night” performed by Omani Oud player Yousif Alluwaihi. Yousif Alluwaihi will play many famous songs and melodies on the Oud instrument that includes, Omani Folk Music, One Thousand and One Nights for Baligh Hamdi, Memories by Muhammed Alqasabji and other selected music.    

A musical evening with Khalid Noori. Khalid Noori is a Kuwaiti Violinist. He holds a Masters degree in Music Performance. He played in several occasions in Jaber al-Ahmad’s Cultural Centre.    

A classical concert performed by Faisal al-Behairi Faisal Albehairi Started playing piano at the age 16, and was self-taught for the first 3 years. Thanks to meeting Stefan Kutrzeba , a piano professor from Poland, Faisal started pursuing music at a professional level while studying English Literature at the American University of Kuwait. Ever since, Faisal has won numerous accolades from international piano competitions from Kuwait, Italy, Finland, and Poland.    

“Hijazi Musical Evening” performed by Muhammed Almutairi. Hijaz is an Arabic musical scale but also holds a clear referencesto Jazz. Maqam Hijaz explores differences and similarities in Mediterranean cultures in order to create harmony, warmth and musical beauty.    

Music Night entitled “Inspiration” performed by Al Hassan Brothers band. Alhassan Brothers is Kuwaiti band that started in 2015 and released its first album (Mi Luna)in 2017. Al Hassan Brothers will perform their original composed music and other popular covers that inspired them through out the years from spanish music to English rock. The band: Ali Al Hassan:Lead Vocalists and rhythmic guitarist Haitham Al Hassan :Lead guitarist and backing vocal Abdulrahman Al Essa: Cajon player Steven: Bass player    

Music Night entitled “The Silk Road” performed and led by Maestro Dr. Amer Jaafar. Dr. Amer Jaafar is a Kuwaiti musician and Maestro. He is holding a PhD degree in music composition from the United States. His name has emerged through his music for television dramas, including the local Kuwaiti series such as Zaman al-Iskafi, Dalag Suhail, the Scorpion, and other famous Kuwaiti series.    

“Classical Piano Recital” performed by Ms. Lulwa al-Shamlan Lulwa started learning the piano at the age of four and within a short time, demonstrated improvement that would normally be seen over several years. She began performing in many concerts from the age of five which all received favourable reviews by audiences and media. In 2009, Lulwa auditioned to Wells Music School in the UK and was accepted as a piano specialist. As well as competitions, Lulwa has performed and taken part in many concerts and events in and out of Kuwait. Among the most notable of these events have included the Arab Woman Awards in 2013.
