What If?
Through an overview of recent projects by Hashim Sarkis Studios, between Beirut and Cambridge MA, the lecture will reflect on the role that architecture plays in anchoring but also transcending its context. The lecture will also discuss the importance of architecture in providing spaces that inspire, and not impose. It will look at different possibilities of inhabitation. It will include urban, landscape, and architectural projects primarily in Lebanon and the United States.
