Dr. Heather Ecker’s lecture “Antique Alchemies in the Perspectiva of Wenzel Jamnitzer (1568)”.
Dr. Heather Ecker an independent scholar, curator and founder of Viridian Projects, LLC, a Boston-based art consulting company. She served as Head of Curatorial Affairs at the Aga Khan Museum from 2011-2013.
Her lecture explored the work of Wenzel Jamnizter, the pre-eminent goldsmith of Nuremberg, and ideas in light of his book Perspectiva Corporum Regularium, but also those of his artistic contemporaries, particularly in Italy and in the Ottoman Empire.
