H.E Prince Sultan Bin Salman the President of Saudi Commission for Tourism & Antique, and members of his delegation visited the Amricani Cultural Centre.
He was also accompanied by Sheikh Hamad Jaber al-Ali al-Sabah, Sheikh Thamer Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah and Dr. Abdullah al-Sheikh, advisor to H.H. the Amir to Kuwait. They were greeted by the National Council of Culture, Arts, and Letters Assistant Undersecretary Abdulkareem al-Ghadban and DAI’s Director of Public Relations Osama al-Balhan and taken on a tour of DAI’s exhibitions – Splendors of the Ancient East and Loans from the Kuwait National Museum. Apart from learning the historical and cultural significance of the objects in the exhibtiions, they also attended the ‘Story of Amricani’ an audio-visual presentation that details the history of the Amricani Cultural Centre’s building, formerly the American Mission Hospital – the first hospital in Kuwait. H.E Prince Sultan Bin Salman concluded his visit to the Amricani Cultural Centre by signing the DAI guestbook.
