DAI in Association with the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina invites you to a Musical Evening with “Tango Desire & Tango Spleen”. TANGO DESIRE: Located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tango Desire Companyhas a rising career since year 2002. Integrated by a staff of young experienced dancers, singers and musicians, performing traditional, modern and contemporary tango and nowadays also performing electronic Tango. Tango Spleen : Orchestra is a group specialised in Argentinian tango, based in Italy, founded and directed by the Argentinian singer and pianist Mariano Speranza, and integrated by the bandoneonist Francesco Bruno; the violinist Andrea Marras and bassist Daniele Bonacini.

DAI in association with The United States of America presents concert, “the Zaid Nasser Jazz Quartet”, which is from New York City. Their music is inspired by the great masters of Jazz – Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie – and the Quartet members learned to play under the guidance of the living legends of Jazz in New York. The Quartet performs songs from the Golden Age of Jazz (1930’s – 1950’s), and their own original compositions have been celebrated by the international jazz press. Held in the Baha at the Amricani Cultural Centre, tonight’s event featured 10 speakers, covering innovation in areas like innovative urban planning, social commentary and solutions, and creative activism.
