His Excellency Mr. Rooge Thammongkol Ambassador, Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait paid a visit to The Amricani Cultural Centre this morning and toured the various exhibitions: al-Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilization, featuring objects from The al-Sabah Collection, and The Story of Amricani: an audio-visual presentation on the history of the American Mission Hospital in Kuwait. He showed his interest in the galleries as well as the museum.  

H.E Nazli Bozkir, wife of the President of the UN General Assembly, Dr. Samira Jaber, wife of the Representative of the Secretary-General and the Resident Coordinator in the State of Kuwait, and an accompanying delegation visited Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah at the Amricani Cultural Centre (ACC). They visited the current exhibitions; al-Fann: Art from the Islamic Civilization, which includes invaluable artifacts from Islamic civilization in The al-Sabah Collection. They also saw the multi-media presentation Story of Amricani, where they learned about the story of the first hospital in Kuwait.  

H.E. Mr. Sibi George, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Kuwait, and his wife Mrs. Joice Sibi paid a visit to the collection office at the Yarmouk Cultural Centre to get an overview of The al-Sabah Collection. They were received by curator and collection manager of The al-Sabah Collection, Salam Kaoukji.
