H.E Dr. Mamadou Tangara, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Gambia and H.E Omar Gibril Sallah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary visited the Amricani cultural centre and toured the various exhibitions; splendors of the Ancient east, Loans From The Kuwait National Museum, Long ago Zoo, and The Story of Amricani. They showed their interest in the exhibitions and objects on display.

A group of students from the American University of Kuwait (AUK) visited The al-Sabah Collection ( ASC) accompanied by their teacher Dr. Yasmine al-Saleh who guided the tour, with ASC Assistant-Curator Me. Mutalq al-Juraid, in the storage of the collection. Dr. Yasmine had her PhD in Islamic art from Harvard University on some art pieces kept at ASC.

زار ضيوف مؤتمر الدولي الثالث ” عصور ما قبل التاريخ في الوطن العربي ” لدار الاثار الاسلامية في مركز الامريكاني الثقافي للاطلاع على معروضات فنية من التاريخ الشرق القديم تحف من العصور الاسلامية. المعارة من مجموعة الصباح الآثارية وكذلك معرض الكويت في الشرق القديم المعار من متحف الكويت الوطني وسجلوا إعجابهم بما شاهدوة .هذا و قامت المتطوعة فاطمة دشتي باخذ الضيوف في جولة في المعارض الثلاث.

After visiting the Louvre – Abu Dhabi, the group travelled to Kuwait to enjoy a full day of cultural exploration.
