Long Ago Zoo: Animals in The al-Sabah Collection

H.E.  Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem al-Sabah, Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, the Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah (DAI) opened Long Ago Zoo: Animals in The al-Sabah Collection, an exhibition curated by children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old – the first in the Middle East and one of a very few ever executed anywhere in the world.

This groundbreaking exhibition included more than 100 objects covering the full geography and chronology of the Islamic world.
