Sheikha Hussah Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah has been named to the MIT Department of Architecture Visiting Committee. She was a presidential nominee for the position and will serve a four-year term. MIT’s visiting committees consist of distinguished professionals, including scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, executives, and educators” and function as advisory groups to the university, offering advice and insight on the relevant academic program.
