Faten Daoud Al-Badr, founder and member of the board of directors and a general manager volunteer at the Centre for Child Evaluation and Teaching, from 1984 until today. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Al-Hikma University (1969), and later worked as an English language teacher. She also held the position of Head of Department (1976-1978) and Head Supervisor (1981-1988). She is a former member of the Committee for Education, Rehabilitation and Employment of the Disabled in the Public Authority for Disability Affairs, and chaired several committees and sub-teams to for the purposes of studying special case and re-evaluation. Additionally, she participated in many conferences related to the field of learning disabilities. She is also a member of the Kuwait Centre for Autism and the Kuwait Early Intervention Centre.
