A group from the US Army – Camp Arifjan visited the American Cultural Centre to introduce new members to the ancient history of Kuwait as well as the beginning of American-Kuwaiti relationship through the American Missionary Hospital, which began in 1913 which was established by Americans.
The leader of the group stated that: “in the battle of Jahra in Kuwait in 1920, Kuwait defended the American doctors and lost some of their citizens to defend us and this sacrifice is provided only by good, authentic and tolerant people”.
