Dr. Laila Aqeel holds a doctorate in the history of art and archeology from the Sorbonne University in Paris. She has an important role in documenting Yemeni seals in the Louvre Museum. She has participated in many conferences by UNESCO, and has several articles on Yemen’s ancient jewellery.
