A group of friends of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah joined Sheikha Hussah in a trip organised by the Friends of al-Manial Palace in Cairo . The trip started on 4th Nov by a dinner hosted by HE Minister of Antiquities , Prof. Mamdooh el-Dimati and the Governor of Luxor Mr. Mohammad Badr to celebrate the reopenong of 3 important tombs of Horemeheb, Thutmosis III and Amenhutib Hawi. It was also an occasion to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the discovery of the intact tomb of the famous Tutankhamun, the young king who was discovered by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings. A spectacular performance by the National Ballet Group performed in an open air stage, erected in front of the beautifully lit Hatsupshut Temple, to entertain the guests who included dignitaries and Egyptian celebrities.
