Professor Halit Erem (far right) is the director general of Research Centre for Islamic History, Art, and Culture (ICICA), which is located in Istanbul, Turkey. The institution is the first subsidiary organ of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This weekend, the OIC is hosting a conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Kuwait City. Whilst attending the conference, Professor Erem took the opportunity to visit Her Excellency Sheikha Hussah Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah.
