Architect Nader Ardalan leads an architecture firm with a long and distinguished international career in planning, architecture and historic preservation. He is a recognised expert in the field of environmentally sustainable and culturally relevant design with a particular focus on Islamic countries.

His lecture focused on commissioned research on the future of urbanism in coastal regions, on a sustainable basis, both environmentally and socio-economically.
