DAI and One World Productions present Antigone by Jean Anouih; a tragedy inspired by Sophocles’ timeless classic.
Jean Anouih adapted the play into its modern form during WWII, being purposefully ambiguous with regard to the rejection of authority (represented by Antigone) and its acceptance, represented by Creon. Anouih used the story as a contemporary attack on dictatorship.
