‘Iranian Music Night’ the Persian folklore group Jaylan
Jaylan is a young group of musicians that hail from the Kormanj tribe in the small Persian city of Bojnord. They perform authentic local dances and folklore music using traditional instruments like the Qhoshme (a wind instrument made from the bones of an eagle’s wing), Kamanche (a string-based instrument made of wood and a horse’s tail), and Dotar (another string instrument that is made from the mulberry tree)
