Sheikha Hussah Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah began her tenure as co-chair of Kuwait’s UNDP Advisory Board this morning. In both her capacity as director general of the Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah and as co-owner of The al-Sabah Collection, Sheikha Hussah has had a long and fruitful relationship with the UNDP. She is pleased to serve on this board, as the UNDP is an organisation that respects Kuwait’s national character and strives to ensure that its programmes are not only consistent with it, but also promotes Kuwait’s history, traditions and values.
