H.E. Maria Angela Holguin, Columbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and members of her delegation visited the Amricani Cultural Centre today. During her visit, she took a tour of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah’s exhibitions – Splendors of the Ancient East, Loans from the Kuwait National Museum and Long Ago Zoo. Apart from learning the historical and cultural significance of the objects in the exhibitions, she also attended the ‘Story of Amricani’ an audio-visual presentation that details the history of the Amricani Cultural Centre’s building, formerly the American Mission Hospital – the first hospital in Kuwait. She concluded her visit to the Amricani Cultural Centre by signing the Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah Guestbook.
